Before you submit a job, please read the following:
TEFL Equity Advocates is committed to promoting equal professional opportunities for ‘native’ and ‘non-native speaker’ teachers. As a result, jobs requiring the candidate to be a ‘native speaker’, to speak English as their first language or mother tongue, or to come from a specific country will not be accepted.
Please also note that we strongly believe that the terms ‘native-like’ or ‘native level’ should not be used when referring to the candidate’s language proficiency. We always suggest recruiters use more neutral terms, such as proficient. If you wish to specify a minimum level of proficiency for the candidate, please use CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) scale, or refer to a specific score on IELTS, TOEFL or another reputable international exam.
